Rover Seff Parry enjoyed the comparatively rare distinction of playing in all three of Australia’s major football competitions in successive seasons. He played for West Adelaide in the SANFL from 1929 to 1932, VFL club Fitzroy (5 games) in 1933, West Adelaide once more in 1934, East Perth in the WANFL between 1935 and 1938, Subiaco (WANFL - 1 game) in 1945, and finally East Perth once more in 1949, taking his final tally of games with that club to 56.
Among the highlight’s of Parry’s career were representing South Australia against Western Australia in Perth in 1934, jointly heading East Perth’s goal kicking list in 1935, and playing in the Royals’ 1936 premiership team.
Seff Parry coached Subiaco in 1945 and 1947 and East Perth in 1949.
